Guess the year, one clue at a time.
Yestor is a year-guessing game for iOS and web. Every puzzle starts with a historical, cultural, sports, science, music, film, birthday, or politics moment. Use the clues, reveal the image, and see how close you can get.
How it works
Each day brings one moment. You get the date, category, three clues, and a no-cropping photo reveal. Guess the year and Yestor scores how close you were. Missed a day? Archive lets you play available past moments, too.
Optional sync
Sign in with Apple or Google to keep progress, stats, collection history, credits, profile customization, app icon choices, and leaderboard identity in sync across iOS, web, and reinstalls.
Archive
Replay available past moments you missed, just for fun. Archive uses the same clues, guesses, scoring, and photo reveal as a daily moment.
Collection
Completed daily and Archive moments are saved to your collection, including your guesses and scores, so you can revisit what you have played.
Stats and Scores
Track streaks, points, exact guesses, and leaderboard progress from daily play. Archive scores are saved to My Collection, but never affect leaderboard points, streaks, totals, credits, or unlocks.
Make It Yours
Complete a daily moment to earn a credit, then use credits to unlock player avatars and titles. Choose a profile color to make your leaderboard profile your own.
New in Yestor 1.6
Archive brings past Yestor moments back into play on both iOS and web. It includes the same gameplay as the daily puzzle, an in-game guide to what counts, a completion state for players who have caught up, and a badge showing how many moments are ready to play.
This update also improves keyboard and scrolling behavior during play, makes historical image fallbacks clearer when a source photo is unavailable, and improves leaderboard reliability for signed-in players.
Available on iOS and web
You can play Yestor in the iOS app or at yestor.app. Guest play works without an account. Signing in is optional, but it is the best way to restore progress on another device or after reinstalling.
